“This place is always empty—” Ares smiled lightly. Though it was mainly the palace that wasn’t like the one in Olympus, or even Poseidon’s palace underneath the sea. That was more filled than Hades’ and Zeus’ combined with how many kids that guy had. Yet as she pulled back, Ares leaned more towards her kiss before chuckling lightly. “I can’t stay the full five days, as much as I want too.” He then started to say as his arms loosened from around her, having his eyes flick down as one of his hands gathered a bit of her dress between his fingers. Not often does he see her in gowns like this. Of course he knew they were to be worn due to her position, but he got too used to her in more casual clothes within his own home. “I’ll try to come back as much as I can—you have me for tonight though."
It had always been sparse, she’d wanted to fill it with the sounds of children and mayhem that way but it hadn’t been in her cards for her. His smile, drew one from her knowing that he couldn’t stay the full five days. They’d have to manage some time apart, though normally they were okay with spots here and there. But it was more the way that they parted that had her on edge. Her hand moved to his cheek, watching as he gathered some of her dress. It was beautiful on her but she didn’t seem to really care too much about it. Her smile was slow, soft as she pressed her lips to the corner of his mouth. "That’s all I can ask, and I’ll await you with baited breath.”
